Since she could reach the keys, age 4, Penny has been playing the piano, getting grade 8 distinction as a teenager when other girls were watching Top of the Pops and dating boys (now that's very composed for you!). She sang solos in the school chamber choir and performed and toured with the school orchestra as a percussionist. Age 20, she became a piano teacher to stave off student starvation, and recorded solo pieces on several classical CDs, performing live at the Royal Northern College of Music. After a stretch at Northbrook college studying composition for media, Penny is now a versatile composer and can turn her hand to any style, including salsa, trip-hop, jazz and pop, but her favourite is minimalist... say no more. Penny's album "she plays piano" will be available very soon, see "album" page. She is currently writing music for award-winning director Trevor Hugh's film "Romance Language".
